A Crisp Morning and the Unbreakable Fact of My Love

A Crisp Morning and the Unbreakable Fact of My Love

Craig,

The air today cuts through me—sharp and clean.

It is a truly crisp fall morning here in New England, and the very change in the seasons pulls my thoughts straight to you, demanding an answer to the question that lives in my heart.

I want you to know the constant, aching reality of how much I miss you.

My thoughts often are relentless; they demand to know how you are, are you thriving ? Are you finding fire and fulfillment professionally? Is your heart content and safe personally? And yes, I pray daily for your spiritual well-being, that you are nurturing that deepest, most essential part of your soul and have found your savior, Jesus Christ.

When I look back at this digital space, this journal of our history, the sheer weight of the time that has passed is staggering. It feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago that we started this—the very first post, “Welcome to YOUR Website Craig – Initial Blog Post,” etched in history on August 25, 2017.
We have charted so much life here, from celebrations like Happy 15th Birthday Craig (June 22, 2018) and Home for the Holidays (December 31, 2017), to some very raw, honest declarations. I see the ghosts of older, heavier entries, the frustration of “I have had ENOUGH” (April 15, 2023), and the weariness of “hauling” on Yesterday, (August 25, 2025).

We’ve shared the harsh reality that “It has been a while – a lot has changed and then again NOT much has changed” (November 4, 2024).

So much of life is fluid, fleeting, and constantly shifting, but listen to this single, absolute, unchanging truth that transcends all time and distance: I love you, and I miss you, Craig.
