Hi Craig….first and foremost Happy Birthday! Today you turned 15 years old and I can honestly hardly believe it as it really does seem like just yesterday when your Mom and I took you home from Reston Hospital, tapping the brakes the entire way, I do not think we broker 25 MPH on the entire ride back home.

You are going into High School in the fall and I have so many things I want to tell you, share with you and protect you from.  I am here for you Craig no mater how big or small the challenge.  I will keep asking your Mom if you want to talk, but please know I am here for you when you need me.  Mom has my phone number, address and email address.  I am so proud of you for acing all of your classes this past year – A’s across the board – So very proud of you.  Keep up the hard work, it will all pay off. I miss you Craig, I love you with all my heart and I pray each day, multiple times a day, that one day we will get the chance to talk in person (looking at a sunset like this one)  and establish a relationship
